We wanted to share an example from a university lab which had spikes in TVOCs. 
This could have resulted from many things but a common cause of an IAQ event like this is a chemical left open on a bench. Aircuity detects each spike and sends a signal to increase ventilation to 12-18 ACH. These higher rates clear the contaminants from the room and also do so much faster than if there was a set ACH in the lab. In short, the university has reduced energy use and carbon emissions in their labs while also creating a healthier space for occupants!
