Former CEO and global executive adds significant building efficiency experience to the Board
Aircuity, the smart airside efficiency company, today announced that Bruno Biasiotta, Managing Partner of The GNA Group, has been appointed to Aircuity’s board of directors. This appointment is following his contribution to the expansion capital Aircuity received this past spring.
“Bruno’s experience supporting strategic account growth and acquisition will be invaluable to Aircuity during this expansion period. We are developing significantly larger and more comprehensive Airside Programs for our clients, now worldwide, and Bruno brings unmatched experience and expertise to help guide us,” explained Dan Diehl, Aircuity’s CEO.
“Aircuity is well positioned with the convergence in building technologies,” said Biasiotta. “They bring common sense solutions to organizations focused on optimizing indoor environments and improving productivity without compromising budgets.”
As a managing partner of The GNA Group, Mr. Biasiotta is engaged in assisting middle market and start up organizations focused on growth. In his role, Mr. Biasiotta provides companies real world expertise in defining winning business models through effective strategy formulation and execution, commercial go-to market excellence and board consulting. Prior to this, Mr. Biasiotta was President and CEO for Philips Lighting Americas where he was responsible for driving sustained profitable growth for Philips’ lighting portfolio of businesses in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Before leading Philips, Mr. Biasiotta successfully led multiple businesses in the building technology services and solutions space, with the majority of his career spent in leadership roles at Johnson Controls.
“Bruno’s 25 years of experience in the building efficiency and technology industries make him a valuable addition to Aircuity’s board.” said Diehl. “He is excited about the growth opportunity and the unique value Airside Efficiency is bringing to the industry and our top tier clients. I personally am looking forward to working with him, as he is someone I have respected for many years as a leader in the industry.”
“Aircuity delivers results for customers because of their ability to link airside solutions to measurably improve facility performance,” stated Biasiotta. “Their solution enables buildings of all types to realize OpEx, CapEx, and energy savings otherwise not captured through traditional energy improvement measures.”
Mr. Biasiotta was named Man of the Year in lighting during his first year as President/CEO of Philips Lighting. He was also featured in the NY Times bestseller The Force by David Dorsey. Mr. Biasiotta holds a degree in business from Cleveland State University where he was honored as a distinguished alumni for his accolades and success. He sits on various other professional and volunteer boards.
